On tomorrow night’s “True Blood” expect locks of shockers. In “Somebody That I Used To Know,” we began at the Authority headquarters in New Orleans, the Chancellors revel in the afterglow of the mass killing spree at the Karaoke bar, but soon realize they have some ‘cleaning up’ to do. And for good reason. Even though Roman, the Guardian has been permanently removed from power, it leaves a vacuum between the existing Chancellors in figuring out what their next step will be. Salome made the same mistake 2,000-years-ago. She decided John the Baptist was better off dead, but then King Herod had another plan for her. Some will not believe they really saw Lilith, but soon, events will transpire to remove all doubt of this vampire’s true nature and innate strengths.
Eric gets another message from Godric, and Trubies will remember back in February Highlight Hollywood reported that we’d be seeing a new side to this ancient Viking vampire. Well, expect that to come full-circle on Sunday night. While Bill is shaken by a distant memory, one that viewers will be stunned to see where it goes. Treachery is on the wings of a dove!
But in one of the most shocking and earth-moving events, helped by Claude (Giles Matthey) and his sisters, Sookie and Jason visit the site of their parents’ deaths, with shocking results. And I do mean, very SHOCKING!
An emotional Luna tries to walk in Sam’s shoes, and she finds out the guy has a heavy burden, and bigger shoes than she ever imagined. More of Sam’s past secrets will begin to be revealed to viewers over the next few episodes. And we will feel as though we never knew this shape shifter after all. Hoyt’s new pals bring him a present, and she’s a bloody mess. Hoyt begins to see what choices he made in the past, were probably not the right ones, and fears this time that he won’t be able to do so again. He’s haunted, devastated and heartbroken, and it may mean something very lethal for a person close to his heart.
Lafayette leads a séance to purge the curse Terry and Patrick have on them. But it blows up in his face. The Muslim woman who placed the curse on the American soldiers in Iraq is still angry and filled with vengeance, even from the grave. And in Shreveport, J.D. ups the stakes of his fight with Alcide, but J.D. stupidly hopped up on V the past weeks may lose a key ally, and it will come at a moment he needs an ally most. We’ll all be rooting for the resident werewolf hunk Alcide, won’t we?
“Somebody That I Used To Know” is written by Mark Hudis, and directed by Stephen Moyer. Whereas Alan Ball is known most shocking episodes, Mark comes a very close second on tomorrow night’s show. And it is perhaps the most transformative of the season. Nothing will be the same again in Bon Temps, and for Sookie and Jason. This shocking episode of “True Blood” was directed by Stephen Moyer, who portrays Vampire King of Louisiana Bill Compton. And viewers, who love Bill will absolutely love this episode. In fact, all Trubies may do so, after they see what revelations are headed our way!
Plus, Godric looms large tonight for Eric.
